VISAVIS has a real Metal Rock universe where a lot of influences are mixed ranging from Punk to Metal with sludge and heavy sounds. It’s a concentrate of heavy, powerful and catchy riffs distilled by vitaminized guitars with « Monster of high gain » and melodies that loop in the heads.
The line-up is the result of the merger in 2019 between members of VISAVIS (Power Rock Tulle founded in 1984) and CLAMANTIS (Rock Punk Paris, 1998). It is composed of 4 strong personalities with diverse musical styles, we find PH Traux on drums, Pierre Beyssac on bass/backing vocals, Damien Boucault on 2nd guitar/backing vocals and Régis Bouyge on 1st guitar and vocals.
After WAR MACHINE, LP released in 2019 by Season & Mist which closed a Power Rock chapter and GREAT released in 2021 which started a more metal turn, THE ART OF COLLAPSE arrives in October 2024 and offers 6 new tracks that confirm the band’s desire to explore new universes.
It took almost 2 years of compositions and work to release this new EP. Some tracks were even tested live during the « Great 2023 » tour of the previous EP, which allowed the band to take advantage of this stage feedback to refine and improve the compositions a little more.
