BIOGRAPHY : Incisive riffs, a powerful rhythm, a bewitching voice on sharp melodies : here is Raspy Junker, a French heavy metal band created in 2012.
Rewarded by the Emergenza best show award in 2013, the band records “Board the Junker” in 2015, a first 5 tracks EP.
In 2017 it’s “World of Violence” that is released, a first album very influenced by Metallica and Alice In Chains, with the independent label M&O Music.
Then comes a French tour, notably with participations to the Chti Rock Festival and Raismes Fest in 2018.
Then the band takes a break after the departure of its original singer, and takes a new turn by coming back with a female vocal, with more melodic accents and heightened emotions.
In 2023, after a return to the stage and to the studio, Raspy Junker presents “Bad Queen”, a second and contrasted album, roaring between heavy atmospheres, soaring flights and infernal sweat.
